Pre-Order Eileen’s NEW SIZZIX DIE BUNDLE!

15 Apr

My NEW SIZZIX DIE BUNDLE is available for pre-order in the Etsy shop NOW! And wait till you see what you will get if you order the whole collection – I’m pretty sure you are going to love it! It’s a big collection and so many fun dies – I can’t wait to show you.

I hope you will Craft Along with me today on the livestream! We are making a One Page Wonder using one sheet of double-sided patterned paper. You will want to make lots of these because they fit in the NEW Garden Gate Album that is coming out, as well as in the Mini Album die. Actually, you can take this concept and scale it to fit whatever square journal you want to make! All you need is a sheet of 12 x 12 paper, eyelets, ribbon or seam, binding, paper, trimmer, and scoring board.

It’s a new month and that means our new theme – Let’s Get Sewing!

The Creative Team might be exploring textiles, paper, mixed media, slow stitching, machine stitching, faux stitching… there are so many ways to create within this theme using Eileen’s dies. So here’s to an April filled with inspiration and creativity!

Jennie Atkinson made a beautiful little linen Needle Book full of bits of ribbon, lace and stitched details. Fabulous! Check out her video below for the how to!

Loving all those details…

Tonya Trantham used the largest tag die from Eileen’s Waterfall & Tags Die Set to make a set of quick little tags utilizing scraps. So clever! Check out more here.

Flashback from Elizabeth Robinson! We have another Needle Book make for you. These would make great little gifts:

DAISY UPDATE

Last week was spent on wiring the camper – I can’t even tell you how many trips to Home Depot we made to get just the right screw, wire, bolt or tool to get the job done. But last Friday night, it was done. We found a bag of insulation that Bill, the previous owner, had sent along. He had saved the original insulation and it was trimmed out and ready to be installed, so we taped it up and are now prepping tthe wallboard. Once that’s done, it’s time for benches and built ins. But I’m supposed to leave in three weeks and I need to decorate! Stay tuned…

Thanks to those who have responded to my  special announcement about being featured as a Guest Designer with EH products. If you haven’t decided yet, don’t feel intimidated – you all inspire me every day with what you are creating! We have such a supportive community and would love a peek of what you are doing in your artistic journey. Here’s a little more info for you – I hope to hear from you!

March in Miniature Wrap Up & Eileen Hull News

1 Apr

The theme for this month was “March in Miniature”! Our designers interpreted it in so many different ways and it was interesting to see all the inspiration. We have a few flashback projects for a final look and the round up video from the whole month so scroll on…

Sue Eldred created this beautiful little mini spring basket using Eileen’s Needle Book, Journal Hardware and Painterly Blooms & Backgrounds dies. So sweet! Check out her tutorial here.

Lisa Hoel has an out of this world flashback mini project to share. She created a “space adventure in a box”. Using the Treasure Box and Stacking Drawer dies to create the main structure, it opens to reveal an alien landscape. Check out her post for all the details.

Jenny Marples also has this fabulous flashback Mini Book Die project to inspire you. (That stunning cover is made using the 3-D Lace Embossing Folder.) Get more details in her post.

Don’t miss the round up video…

What’s Eileen up to?

Hi friends – I’m back from BellaCon and it was AMAZING! Thanks to all who joined us and I hope you had as much fun as we did. Many thanks to my friends Ann and Lisa from Bella Crafts Publishing for letting me be part of it.

My bags are unpacked and I am back at work 🙂 Today I am making a leather Journal and trying out some gorgeous leather paint I found in Curacao. I will use it to keep track of my new little trailer Daisy and all our adventures together. I hope you can join me!

At this point Daisy is totally stripped down and my husband is installing the wiring so there is lighting, a place to charge devices and craft. I am supposed to leave in a month though! Getting a little nervous here…

News from Eileen…

Hi friends – I hope you are enjoying the extra sunlight now that Daylight Savings has kicked in! I am still dealing with medical stuff and the appointments are messing with my schedule! Thanks for your patience…

Today I have an extra special announcement to share with you on the live! Because you are such a talented and diverse group, I have come up with a plan that will allow us to see what some of you are doing in more detail – are you intrigued? Join me at 4:00 TODAY to hear more.

Next week, Margaret and I will be back together with a “One Die, Two Ways” episode so hope you will come and craft along with us on Tuesday!

I’m happy to say I finished several of the Napkin Decoupaged Tiny Books that I made on the LIVE last week while I was up in NY. I gave one to Jill, Mom’s caregiver, and she loved it 🙂 They are so cute and fun to make – if you missed it you can watch here. Find the Spring/Easter napkins HERE.

I received a huge box of fabric samples from one of my Etsy customers – how nice was that? Her name is Robyn Cubbage and she makes custom memory quilts from t-shirts, uniforms and men’s neckties. Robyn’s husband is a sales rep for Moda Fabrics and she sent me salesman samples to use in my projects – wait till you see them! If you place an Etsy order, I will include some fabric in your order!

You know how excited I am to be part of the BellaCon retreat next week? It’s not too late to register!

Well, it has been expanded and another day has been added to this already packed event! It’s called Bella Jewelry Con. One of the hosts is none other than my friend Julianna of JEWELLOOM! I will be doing a segment on Journal Jewelry so hope you can join us for this event!

Jewels developed the Eileen Hull loom that can used to create book bindings, bracelets, bookmarks and weavings. For more info, watch the intro video here…

Last week’s Live:

Did you catch my video last week? I have to admit I LOVE this project made with the Notebook die! Some of the great suggestions for ways to use it came from the live viewers: first aid kit, sewing box for the car, card game box, ephemera pieces, small notecards, gift tags, small scenes, flash cards, treat box for small chocolate bars, photos, ATC’s to name a few! Thanks everyone for the great ideas! If you missed it you can watch here. Here’s how the finished card box came out – everything you need for a card game in this cute little box!

Grafix Arts & Eileen Hull Project Inspiration

20 Feb

For February, Eileen Hull’s Creative Team is doing an exciting collaboration with the company Grafix Arts! We’ve been using an assortment of their speciality plastic films and sheets in our Journal projects and the inspiration has been fabulous. Grafix products are widely available in the USA, UK and Europe so we hope you will get some ideas as to how these products can be used.

Sue Eldred used the Journal Die to make a journal inspired by her granddaughter’s fashion sense. She makes a bold statement with her combo of Grafix and Eileen Hull products. More details here.

So cute!

Jenny Marples shows us how to use Grafix Dura-Lar to create pockets and other embellishments for your projects. I agree with her that this a perfect option when you don’t want to completely cover your collage background. Find her video here on Instagram.

Tonya Trantham is here for Part 1 of her Grafix project. She used the Grungy Vibe by Cat Karr pack of Dura-Lar Prints for her bright and creative journal. You can find all the details for creating the cover in her post. Can’t wait for Part 2!

News from Eileen…

Hi everyone! I’m back from vacation and babysitting the little ones for a few days. Laundry is done and I am ready for a craft session! I did some watercoloring on the trip – am I weird? Do you pack up craft supplies to bring on vacation like me? I always bring too many but I need options! 🙂

We had such an amazing time in Puerto Rico – Teresita and Joe took us all around the island and we got to stay in their gorgeous apartment right downtown. Teresita of Scrapbook Y Mas has some very talented friends because every project came out fantastic! We loved our visit to Puerto Rico and the islands we visited on the cruise.

This week’s live:

Join me to make a really cool card box using the Notebook die! If you don’t have that die, you can use the techniques learned with other dies you may have. This easy die cutting project is perfect for gifting, organizing card decks, or adding a creative handmade touch to game night. If you love paper crafting, mixed media, and thinking outside the box with your Sizzix dies, this project is for you. Creative Collaboration with Grafix & Eileen Hull Products

11 Feb

Eileen is not quite back from her Caribbean vacation but we have plenty to share with you this week!

For February, we are doing a creative collaboration with the company Grafix Arts and the Creative Team has been using an assortment of their speciality plastic films and sheets in our Journal projects for this month. Grafix products are widely available in the USA, UK and Europe so we hope you will gain some inspiration as to how these products can be used.

Jennie Atkinson used the Journal Die to create an ephemera keeper full of pockets and pouches to hold all the little ephemera bits. She found that the Grafix Dura-Lar was sturdy and she could easily sew it to form the pockets. Check out her video tutorial. She’ll share a tutorial for the cover later in the month!

Maggi Harding created this fun and colorful journal packed full of preprinted Grafix Dura-Lar overlays that perfectly highlight the patterned paper details. See Maggi’s video below for a closer look!

Bon Voyage Eileen & Exciting February Collab with Grafix Arts!

3 Feb

For February, the Eileen Hull Creative Team is doing an exciting collaboration with the company Grafix Arts! The Team will be using an assortment of their speciality plastic films and sheets in their Journal projects to create some mixed media masterpieces. Grafix products are widely available in the USA, UK and Europe so we hope you will gain some inspiration as to how these products can be used in your own makes.

First up is Sarah Lizzie with her bold and colorful mixed media floral journal. Visit her post to see all the tricks and techniques she used to make it! (Hint: acrylic paint pens and Grafix Arts plastic are a match made in heaven.)

Pam Bray cut her Journal cover in half to make a “short” version for her Grafix Arts project. So clever! She also made matching signatures to put inside so take a look here for all the details.

Don’t be shy about “hacking” your die cuts to put a different different spin on them!

More Grafix Arts inspiration coming your way next week!

Eileen is on the Road & Greeting Card Inspiration

21 Jan

The Team this month is kicking off the year with a Card Bonanza! We always need a card or two through the year so check out our Creative Team’s greeting card inspiration through the month for birthday and other occasion cards.

Jenny Marples created this lovely floral card by cutting flowers out of fabric using the Painterly Blooms & Background die set. She then cut them apart and made mix & match layered flowers to form the wreath. Awesome! Check out her tutorial reel on Instagram.

Tonya Trantham used the Mini Album die to cut the card base for this sweet little card. She layered on various paper scraps and die cuts to complete it. Lovely! Find all the details here.

News from Eileen Hull…

Hi all, and I hope your 2026 is off to a good start! As I mentioned last week, life for the next two months has lots going on and I am allowing myself to take a break. I will not be doing two scheduled lives a week – however I do still plan on going live when my schedule allows, so please make sure to subscribe to my channels on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. Click notifications so you will be notified when I do go live!

I leave today for upstate NY to visit Mom while my sister and BIL take a break with week in the islands. I checked the weather today and looks like a big storm is coming this weekend, so hopefully the drive home is not too crazy!

Have you seen the Monks Walk For Peace on Instagram? It is so inspiring! They are due to finish their 2300 mile walk in DC on February 11. I really wanted to see them since (we live 25 miles outside of DC) but we won’t be home in time 🙁 They are definitely worth watching…

Get organized!

Join me and fellow YouTubers on the Cara Brandon Refresh Collaboration! We will be taking a look at our spaces as the New Year begins. Each artist will be sharing a look at their studio – clearing out and making it more efficient to work in. Each week follows a different theme; join us and follow along at home! Episodes are recorded so you can binge watch and clean along with us 🙂 Follow along and share your progress using: #craftspacerefresh2026

PROGRESS? I am still working on my studio – it’s a never ending job… I received a Michael’s gift card from my son for Christmas and I was happy to find some useful organizing carts and containers; plus there were some great deals to be had!

The ETSY SHOP is openI The Easy Cut Adhesive is back in stock along with the 1/2″ RedLiner tape and 1/4″ RedLiner tape. Debbie will be filling orders while I am away – thanks Debbie!

There are some exciting changes going on which will take a little time to put in place – please be patient. I think you are going to love them.
